The
29th Annual Art Auction to benefit the Art Museum’s
exhibition program will take place Saturday, February 3rd, at the
University Center Ballroom, beginning at 5:30.
Tickets are $45 in advance (deadline Friday) and $50 at the door,
with tables of 10 available for $450 prepaid.
The 80 artworks will be on view in the Art Museum’s Second
Floor Galleries January 19 through February 3.
The artworks are also currently on view on the Art Museum’s
website at www.artmissoula.org.
Bids
for all auction artworks will be accepted in the galleries or on-line at
www.artmissoula.org
through Friday, February 2. Final
bidding will take place at the live auction event. Easy to follow
instructions will guide the viewer in on-line bidding for the auction
artworks.
Two
gala receptions are planned: Preview Reception Honoring Auction Artists,
Friday, January 19, 6 to 9 p.m. and Exhibition Closing Reception,
Friday, February 2, 5 to 8 p.m.
This year our auction sponsor is S. G. Long & Company, and generous
contributors include Birnbaum’s Broadway Frame, Earl’s Distributing,
Good Food Store, Hob Nob Café, Insty-Prints, Missoula Textile, Rocky
Mountain Moving & Storage, and 80 Auction Artists.
Museum
Hours: Tuesday 12-8 p.m., Wednesday – Saturday 12--6 p.m.
Suggested Admission: non-member adults $2.00, children free and
